Halifax Real Estate News Compliments of the Andrew Perkins Real Estate Team Issue 2.1 - January 2022   As another month comes to an end, the Halifax Real Estate market is only getting tighter.  Inventory remains extremely low and prices continue to rise.  I know I sound like a broken record.  How long can this last?  For quite a while longer that is for sure.  We are seeing very little new construction single-family homes coming to market. There is only one new construction condo building: North Condos in the North end of Halifax, and that project only has 7 units left.  The City of Halifax needs to step up immediately and start approving lands for future development.  It really is the only way out of this. The Parks of West Bedford is 7 years ahead of schedule, which is insane.  Governor’s Brook in Spryfield has been sold out for a couple of years.   On a personal note, I was able to travel (finally) to Florida for a couple of weeks to play golf and enjoy some sun.  I attended a Tampa Bay Bucs and Tampa Bay Lightning game.  Both with full attendance.  It’s like Covid doesn't exist in Flordia.  That being said, I did actually contract Covid and had to stay an extra week (poor me, lol).
